Family & Friends Fishing Day at Brackenridge Park

 The Fin Addict Angler Foundation is partnering with Brackenridge Park Conservancy to provide a "free to the public" youth fishing clinic from ages 5 to 16. Courtesy of the Texas Park & Wildlife Department, event participants and volunteers are exempt from having a fishing license from 10am to 2pm. Pre-register your child today and complete the registration at the event site to receive their ID wristband. Registration on site is from 10am to 1pm with the event ending at 2pm. The Fin Addict Instructors and volunteers will educate the youth on the basics of fishing through fun educational methods making this event full of excitement! Participants in the fishing clinic may bring their own fishing equipment and bait to fish all day. If you are in need of a fishing rod, the loaner program equipment is leased free with bait during the clinic hour of fishing. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing and have plenty of sun protection. Adults must accompany children.  You may continue to fish after the class with your own fishing equipment and bait.
