TPWD Angler Education Instructor Training Workshop

This free Texas Park & Wildlife Department workshop is open to anyone 18 or older interested in teaching fishing skills in their communites. We, at Fin Addict Angler Foundation encourage all of our volunteers to aquire their certification to better serve the public at our fishing events. Ideal for teachers, scout or youth group leaders. The TPWD program provides the curriculum, equipment (where available), materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce youth and their families to fishing. Pre-registration is required BEFORE the workshop. Please bring a Texas ID for verification. At the end of the program, you will sign up with the TPWD to create a volunteer profile and to authorize the Criminal Background Check section. You will receive your TPWD User ID and password.
